Understanding Fibroids
Fibroids, also known as uterine fibroids, are non-cancerous growths that develop in or on the uterus. These growths can vary in size, shape, and location, leading to a wide range of symptoms and potential complications. Types of Fibroids
There are several types of fibroids, each with unique characteristics and implications for health:
• Intramural Fibroids: Located within the muscular wall of the uterus.

• Submucosal Fibroids: Grow into the uterine cavity.

Recognizing Fibroid Symptoms

• Backache or leg pain
