I can’t say enough good things about the fibroid institute. They made the entire process from start to finish so transparent and put my mind at ease. The entire staff from Ana at the front desk and the nurses had amazing bedside manner and I felt so cared for! Dr. Chan is so sweet and took his time to explain all aspects of the procedure. They had everything prepared for me to go home and manage my after care. I can’t say thank you enough!

I have absolutely zero complaints and would recommend this procedure to anyone. My fibroid was very large, and I have experienced almost immediate relief even six weeks out from the procedure. I had the most amazing experience. From the Telehealth appointments to leaving the facility. From the moment I walked in Lynn greeted me and went over all the medications and stopped to answer all my questions. After a short wait I was called in and Ruby, Megan, Stephanie and Kimberly were extremely nice. The heating blankets were a nice touch. I had 5 star service.
Dr. Chen then came in and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable and less nervous after speaking to him right before the surgery.
I was wheeled into the surgery a couple of other people came in to help prep. There was a gentleman that was really gentle with prepping me. I didn’t catch his name.
I was in recovery for a short time when I was wheeled out with so much care.

She made sure I fully understood the pros & cons of my procedure and even provides her mobile number in case anything arises after the procedure. Nurse Esther is amazing and very thorough. The front desk staff, nurses, anesthesiologist, and other doctors present on my day of surgery made me feel at ease. Everything was explained to me and my best friend that took me on the day of the procedure. She was explained the schedule of medications and answered any questions she had. The overall experience was positive and allowed me to stay at ease.

The second one was to go over my MRI and again I didn’t feel rushed. I got my procedure this past Friday and WOW! Everyone that I spoke to was so nice, helpful and caring. Lynn, is amazing, she is such a sweetheart. I had issues with one of my meds where the pharmacy couldn’t fill it on time and she sent the prescription to another one but first she called to make sure I was able to get it on time. The nurses that helped me in recovery room were so nice, I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all when they helped me in the restroom and to put my clothes on bc of the anesthesia, they were very professional. Thank you Ana, Jasmine, Jacqueline and the other staff I don’t recall but that helped me. Just know that every single person I interacted with virtually and physically were giving the best care and service there is to give. Thank you everyone in this place, you truly are an example of what medical care should always be!

I had a positive experience at Fibroid Institute Dallas-North. Excellent customer service when they began to go over all of my medications both before and after the operation. I felt like a big, joyful family when the nurse took care of me, hehe. Dr. Slomin is an excellent physician who checked on me before to the operation to make sure I was alright and that I was going safely.

I had the UFE 5yrs ago! The Dr and staff were amazing! I was in and out. Everything went well. I stopped bleeding. I was able to have some peace. They only thing I didn't like about it is..it took away my sensation. It numbed everything dwn there. I don't even get wet anymore. Im just not horny at all! And i still feel the swelling and pain in my uterus. So sad! But I want you ladies to know that their BACK! After having this done. They are small, but they are there. I had the worst experience with this office. Appointment was scheduled for 2:45 and I was on time. After going back and forth over a payment that I wasn’t informed about, we agreed that I could pay that over the phone by the next office day being a Wednesday. Then was notified that the doctor was not available and will arrive in 30minutes. This was at 3:05pm. Told them I have a patient to see too at 3:30 and would not want to fail my patient or keep them waiting.
No, they kept me waiting with hopes that the doctor will show up. She never did. I left at 3:45pm. I felt horrible because at least I expect some transparency and truthfulness from a healthcare agency.
Usually, I would expect that the doctor get in touch with the patient to apologize, but no, she didn’t do that. None of the staff ever contacted me.
Note that if I missed this appointment, they would have charged me for missing it. I wouldn’t have gone there if not for my gynecologist’s recommendation.

Her staff is great and on top of all details for your journey with them! Do it ladies!! Wake up and get your life back! Fibroids are 100% treatable! Obviously do your homework, make sure you're comfortable with whatever you decide, but do it!!!

I am very, very grateful to Dr Slonim and her excellent and compassionate staff!!! Every detail was handled perfectly and I felt secure every step of the way. The procedure was smooth and easy and my recovery was very quick. I did not need any of the intense pain medication, even on the worst second day. Dr Slonim checked in on me and everyone was very attentive. I couldn’t ask for better care. I had a large fibroid that is now dead and I feel great! Flat tummy and so much more energy! I was told I needed a hysterectomy but for many reasons I wanted to avoid surgery and the possibility of creating greater problems. The procedure was smooth and easy and my recovery was very quick. I did not need any of the intense pain medication, even on the worst second day. Dr Slonim checked in on me and everyone was very attentive. I couldn’t ask for better care. I had a large fibroid that is now dead and I feel great! Flat tummy and so much more energy! I was told I needed a hysterectomy but for many reasons I wanted to avoid surgery and the possibility of creating greater problems. That hold staff is just Beautiful and Compassionate and that Dr.Slonim had me in Awe with how she had much compassion and kindness. When she held my hand and look me in my eyes and said I got you , your going to be okay. I knew she were Heaven sent because I prayed to God and He answered my prayer. I will never forget that lady . I haven't had kindness in quite a while being reassured by somebody in her Professional. The Staff well they were just as kind and compassionate to . Great for a medical institute. The nurses are the best! The staff is sweet. My doctor however stole the show with her amazing bedside manner. Dr. Slonim is magnificent! Ruby was also my next favorite in the back.They lady at the front desk was so helpful. She explained everything so well and laid each medication out for me.
Great for a medical institute. The nurses are the best! The staff is sweet. My doctor however stole the show with her amazing bedside manner. Dr. Slonim is magnificent! Ruby was also my next favorite in the back.They lady at the front desk was so helpful. She explained everything so well and laid each medication out for me.
Dr. Slonin truly cares about her patients and what they are going through. She was very thorough in explaining the procedure and what to expect afterwards. The appointment was not rushed, and after our televisit time was over, she called me to finish answering all of my questions (which I had a lot). I chose her based on her wonderful reviews, and am so glad I did!

I had such a great experience talking with the NP to go over my paperwork. She listened and was so kind and very knowledgeable about the procedure that I may have again and I felt very comfortable and assured wirh rhe amazinf professionalism she gave.

My experience with the FID was wonderful. I was incredibly nervous about my procedure, but Dr. Slonim and her entire team made me feel comfortable and cared for. I also appreciate that Dr. Slonim made herself available after the procedure. I will be recommending the institute to anyone with fibroid needs.

Update: I finally had my UFE and it went amazing. My favorite part aside from the usual loving staff/Dr was that Dr Slonin held my hand during getting my IV put in (I’m terrified of needles). You normally don’t ever see the drs or even hear from them but this sweetheart REALLY does care about her patients. She’s already checked on me. My pain is 0 and I prepared for the worst. I’m giving that to getting the absolute best care, very tender, no bruising or anything! I’m the biggest weenie who has zero pain tolerance and can be a bit of a princess BUT I was treated like one and the incision is very minimal. Still amazed at this wonder staff and place. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! If 10 stars was a thing that’s what they deserve! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It went very well with know pain after. Awesome place to go if you have fibroid issue. The staff and doctors are wonderful they take very good care of you. The begin they give you some instructions to let you know how take care of yourself after the process.

Dr. Reddy is an amazing doctor. She makes me feel very comfortable about everything, she explains everything in detail. She has a wonderful bedside manner. I have a gray, very courteous, answered all my questions, and made sure that I was aware of what I needed to do as well as my driver and make sure that I have plenty of contact numbers just in case I had any questions or anything popped up. Thanks for everything to the entire staff.

I cannot recommend Dr. Slonin and her staff HIGHLY enough. From the consultation to the procedure and follow up, they were caring, authentic, and thorough every step of the way. I am 62 with fibroids the size of a grapefruit that were protruding from my abdomen and tender to the touch and painful during sex. I finally decided to do something about it and I’m so glad I took the less invasive approach of UFE instead of a hysterectomy. I had my procedure yesterday and for me day one was virtually pain free. That first night I did need one dose of the stronger pain medication, but it took care of the pain without nausea. I am a little tender day two, but nothing I can’t tolerate. Dr. Slonin’s bedside manner is the best I have experienced from any doctor. She held my hand before we started and asked if I was okay or had any concerns. I have complete confidence in her experience, research and investment in giving her patients the best possible experience dealing with fibroids.

Dr. Slonim took her time with my visit. She thoroughly explained all my options&risks to have my fibroids treated. Normal visits doctors typically allot fifteen minutes. My visit exceeded this time& Dr. Slonim did not rush the visit to ensure I understood all things concerning me. I highly recommend Dr. Slonim.

Went in and procedure started about 11:45am and was home by 2:25pm (live 15 miles away). Everyone is so nice and very informative from front office through prep and actual procedure. Would recommend as alternative to hysterectomy if you can of course.
