Dr. Suzanne Slonim Honored as Dallas Wings Host Sixth Annual Inspiring Women’s Night September 7th, 2021

ARLINGTON, TX –The Dallas Wings Annual Inspiring Women’s Night took place Wednesday, September 7 and was highlighted by an all-women pregame speaker panel honoring women’s accomplishments in sports and business during the game versus the Connecticut Sun at College Park Center. The panel took place on the second-level concourse located near section 210 and began at 5:00 p.m. CT. with all ticketed guests invited to attend.

The panel featured Team USA Gold Medal Winning Paralympian Darlene Hunter, who just returned from the 2021 Tokyo Paralympics after bringing home a bronze medal in wheelchair basketball, University of Texas at Arlington’s Women’s Head Basketball Coach Shereka Wright, SMU’s Women’s Head Basketball Coach Toyelle Wilson and the CEO for the Women’s National Football Conference Odessa Jenkins

During the game, four other women were honored individually throughout the night: Founder and Medical Director of the Fibroid Institute Dallas, Suzanne Slonim, Owner and Founder of the Mad Detailer mobile detailing services, Chassidy Pace McBride, WISE Board Members, Natalie Jenkins and Katie Wegner and former Vanderbilt Goalkeeper and current University of North Texas Student-Athlete Sarah Fuller, who became the first female to play in a Power 5 football game on November 28, 2020, as she dressed as the team’s placekicker and later became the first female to score points in a Power 5 football game.
